Photography 1 - Project The Frame - Exercise Cropping

I chose these 3 images for cropping. They are of a personal nature and illustrate how a special person can be brought 'alive' by the judicious use of selection.

Hong Kong, and Rachael has had enough of listening to interesting facts about the Man Mo temple. "Good this, eh?", I asked, and this was the face that was pulled. The moment didn't allow for a closer composition so a later crop added impact.

Australia, at Bunderburg Rum distillery and a nice group photo including Oliver. He does look a bit 'tacked on the side'. Excluding him in the crop makes a better balanced and more appealing image.

This image of Rachael is very nice but is a little 'remote'. The head and shoulder crop brings out her natural smile which was overwhelmed by the chair.
